Studio Policies & Frequently Asked Questions

  • Late Cancellations: we consider any modification to a reservation within 12 hours prior to the start of class to be a late cancellation, and you lose the credit.

    No show: we charge an additional $20 fee if you are registered for a class and do not attend it.

    No exceptions, thank you for understanding that we are doing our best to provide class availability to all our clients.

  • If you need to cancel your reservation we ask that you log into your account online or through our app & follow the prompts to cancel your class.

    We do not accept emailed requests for cancellations.

    We encourage clients to cancel their classes prior to 12 hours before the start of class otherwise it will be considered a Late Cancellation.

  • If a class is full you can register for the waitlist. If a spot becomes available you will be automatically added up to 12 hours prior to class, and notified via email. Don’t worry, we will never add you to class from the waitlist during our Late Cancellation window. You are responsible for removing yourself from any waitlist that you are registered for if you can no longer make the class.

    If you are booked into our waitlist and arrive at the studio you will be allowed to start class if there is an available machine. If there are multiple waitlisted clients looking to take class, we will honor the order of the waitlist.

    Clients who are registered for class have a 5 minute window from the start of class to arrive and claim their spot, after that window the spot will officially belong to the waitlisted client. For example, if you are taking an 8:30 am class you have until 8:34 to claim your spot in class, at 8:35 it will be given to the waitlisted client.

  • We allow late arrivals at MPX. However, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late your spot may be released to a waitlisted client. You would not be penalized, but you would not be able to join the class.

    For example, if class starts at 8:30, you have until 8:34 to arrive and claim your machine. If there is a waitlisted client in the studio, the spot is released to them at 8:35.

  • Not a problem! All you need to do is email hello@mpxstrength.com with the dates that you would like to pause your membership - our membership agreement allows for 2 pauses of 14 consecutive days a year.

    If you would like to cancel your membership after the 3 month commitment we are happy to help - please simply email hello@mpxstrength.com and give us one business day to take care of it for you.

  • Thank you for joining us! We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before the start of your first class so your instructor can familiarize you with the X Former and our workout. We want to set you up for success in your first class!

    Please wear clothing that you feel comfortable moving and sweating in. Grip socks are required at our studio, if you do not have a pair with you when you arrive you will be required to purchase one.

  • Yes, both for hygiene and for safety. They must be worn for the entire class. No exceptions, thank you for understanding.

    If you don’t own any, or if you forget to bring yours, you will be required to purchase a pair at the studio. We sell socks in men’s and women’s sizes.

  • We welcome clients aged 14 years and older.

    If you are a minor, we require that you bring your parent to your first class to co-sign our waiver.

  • No, we do not allow children to remain in the studio while we are conducting class. We appreciate your understading.

  • We have two different types of classes that we offer: mobility & strength. Please be sure to look at the title of the class you would like to attend and purchase credits accordingly.

    In order to book into a strength class you need to purchase either a strength credit or a strength membership. We offer a discount for new clients for strength classes - but be sure to book them within 2 weeks from date of purchase, otherwise they expire. Please also be sure to look at the number at the end of the class title - it will indicate the class length.

    In order to book into a mobility class you’ll need to purchase one of our mobility credits.

  • So you went ahead and purchased the appropriate credit type for the class you want to book, wonderful!

    In order to complete the reservation you will have to click the “reserve” button, and select if you are reserving for yourself or a guest. You will get a confirmation email once your reservation successfully goes through.

    All reservations are made through our app or through our website.

  • You’ll need grip socks to participate in class at MPX, we require them for safety. If you don’t own any we have them available for purchase in both mens and women’s varieties at the studio.

    We also have grip gloves available for purchase at the studio, but they are not required. Some clients prefer to bring a water bottle and a towel as well.

  • We’re located on the Oak Grove Avenue side of the building. There is street parking out front, on University Drive, and there is also a parking lot behind our building.

  • Unfortunately at this time we are not offering private training.
